Daniela Avera, Co-Lead Educator

Daniela is a bilingual educator with a B.A. in Education and a Master’s degree in Mindfulness in the Classroom. With over a decade of experience working with children in Montessori, public school, summer camp, and enrichment settings, she is known for her gentle, nurturing, and mindful approach to education.

Inspired by Montessori principles and mentored through training connected to the founder of Lily Montessori and the Wildflower Montessori network, Dani is passionate about fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning in young children. She has also worked as a children's cooking instructor, making culinary experiences fun, engaging, and educational while encouraging healthy habits and confidence in the kitchen. Daniela enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences through mindful storytime, living books, nature-based exploration, music, movement, and hands-on activities. She believes that children learn best when they are given the opportunity to wonder, create, and connect with the world around them.

Outside the classroom, Daniela enjoys hiking with her family and puppy, exploring nature trails, discovering new recipes, reading beautiful living picture books, and cultivating healthy habits that nourishes both the body and mind. Her goal is to inspire children to become compassionate, curious, and lifelong learners.
